Decided to actually get out of the house today...decided to got out to the barn and dig thru stuff...everything was skidded up when I emptied the warehouse/storage...
Picking a skid at random started working thru it...lots of just junk.
Two prizes came up...a mid 60's Seeburg box...and a pair of L88 plus.
Went ahead and just trashed the Seeburg...it was in bad shape, having been drilled and redrilled a zillion times...got a clean 806A 'greenie' and a gold 811...
I had always told everybody the OEM on the 12's was Utah...that had been conveyed to me on a California trip in the early 70's...and lo and behold the EIA code on the woof is 328...so fer sure Utah was the OEM...next digit is 5 which matches the 5 after the 391 on the 806....
The L88's look like aftermarket grilles...speaker drivers look clean... cabs look 35+ years old...it'd be a sin to part them out though...
I just create problems for myself...now whadda I do with the stuff...another set of speakers in the house might mean another critter, according to the terms of the OG/redhead treaty....six sets of speakers and six critters so far...
